Honeymoon and Marriage Starter Pack

If you're reading this, you probably know that Andy and I are celebrating our marriage on October 22, 2016 in Redlands, California. We will set off on our honeymoon roadtrip soon after. The extent of our travels will depend on your generosity. Please give as much as you feel appropriate.
Money can feel impersonal, but let me assure you this roadtrip is not. There is nothing we cherish more than one another's company out in the beauty of nature.
We met in Portland, Oregon in a house on East Burnside that will always be dear to our hearts.
Our story began in this house, but it travels with us, wherever we go, because together we have finally found our home.
We have found our home in many places, in the rivers and waterfalls of the Oregon scenery to the sparce deserts of Southern California. We have found it deep within ourselves, in the dark scenery of our minds and the open plains of our hearts.
Andy proposed to me by the light of our head lamps deep in the pitch black of the Ape Caves located just north of the Columbia in Washington.
Shortly after, Fog the Dog came into our lives. As you can imagine from this picture at the shelter, he was a bit shabby back then, but he has a great personality. (We've been careful not to feed him after midnight.)
He accompanied us when we packed up everything we owned and took off for California, camping and couch crashing for months.
We had a blast, getting to know Fog, living in our car, wild and smelly and free.
In lieu of gifts, we are asking that you help fund our honeymoon and help us begin our lives as a married couple. We are planning to travel back up the coast with Fog, all the way up through Portland, Seattle and explore Vancouver, BC.
We will be visting our much loved city of Portland before moving onto Seattle, where we will stay in the Great Northern Hotel and celebrate with some cherry pie and a damn fine cup of coffee.
From there we will keep driving north into Canada to explore new territories.
Andy and I have everything you could need for a house and then some. What we are asking for is so much more than a gift you could find in a store.
We are asking for a trip that will last a lifetime, a trip that will manifest as much beauty as the love we have in our lives.
Please give whatever you can to help us along our journey. Whatever happens, I know this will be as much an adventure as it will be a honeymoon. Funds will be received any time between now and until the end of October 2016.
Fog is packed and ready to go. All three of us are eternally grateful for your well wishes on this new chapter of our lives.
