Kieran "Kieko"

Set up by Steph Leanne Preston I am Kieran's beloved older sister. I ask permission first from my as mum and dad,  knowing they are very private as was Kieran. So private that Kieran was non-verbal due to his inherited neurometabolic mitochondrial disease. In creating #KieransFinalCelebrationJourney page, I want to also highlight, the injustice and discrimination of Kieran's "2016 Florida Wish Trip" application. To various wish trip organizations and charities within the UK.

A Florida wish trip that although did go ahead in June 2016. Only went ahead with support of Crowdfunding friends and family support.

Throughout all of Kieran's short life, even after his sister Kristen taken by mitochondrial disease in Nov 1992 and Stacey also taken by mitochondrial disease 16 months ago, as a family it has been one battle after another, mitochondrial disease recognition, specialist equipment, financial and family relationship costs, lost friends and family, social isolation, 24 hr caring, at no point have they ever gone public to raise these issues, they feel its time.

The issues unseen and often not talked about in the public domain. with your help and support, we would like to highlight these issues for Kieran, in his memory, to re-balance injustice and discrimination. Kieran's Final Celebration Day

We have set this page up in the hope of raising funds for kierans final memorial day. kieran lost his sister stacey 16 months ago also to mitochondrial disease, this is also the disease that has also took our beloved kieran this morning - date 17.03.2017
we want kieran to have the most special perfect memorial day so we can give him everything we can, including horse and carridge, balloons, special casket ect..  with what funds may be left i would like kierans mummy and daddy to have, an amazing holiday, vacation. My mum and dad have have given their life to Kieran, their social life and relationship.

Kieran was such an amazing brave boy he fought all his life and right till his very last breath.
