Veterans Training in Cincinnati, Oh

Levelyn Trade Academy Inc. (LTA) is a faith-based non-profit (501c3) organization in partnership with the Cincinnati Police Department (Sentinel Division). Our ministry will open on March 5, 2018 in Cincinnati, Oh. We are raising money to help sponsor Veterans for construction trade training, which they'll use to instruct/train youth and young adults ages 13-27 years old (males/females). The trade skills that will be  taught are, Professional Painting, Drywall, Flooring, Carpentry and Handyman Services.  After receiving the training each trainee will have the ability to open and run their own contracting business, through our Entrepreneurship Program. These professions are well needed in our communites to help our supporting partners, Habitat For Humanity, Easterseals, People Working Cooperatively (PWC), and Veterans Workforce Development. 

Our focus will also be on helping homeless veterans, helping at risk youth, 2nd chance Felons, low income elderly, low income families and low income churches in the communty.

Our mission is "To provide a safe environment where all students can learn, achieve, develop confidence, gain knowledge, and earn a legal income to meet the challenges of a changing and complex society".   

                                                  GOAL
Our goal is "To redirect student lives and provide them with to opportunity to develop knowledge and skills in trade areas applicable to present and future needs of contractors or becoming a contractor. The students will attend LTA for free, but our staff and operating cost will be needed for day to day operations. The funds are needed ASAP to begin our training program.
