Veteran's Healing Garden

Tax deductible
Please help to Fund this Healing Garden designed for our Veterans suffering from PTSD.
This garden was designed specifically to help those suffering from PTSD in that; as one enters from the parking area; and turns right to sit on the first bench and looks inward (as one must; to heal onself) the 8 week fragrance sequence from the plants in bloom directly behind the bench will signal the brain through the olfactory nerve that in reality; ALL IS Well. Mother Nature's perfumes have that effect on those who experience her fragances. First the Sugar Tyme Crabapple, next the Korean Spice Virburnum, next the Dwarf Korean lilac; next the Miss Kim lilac and then the Fringetree-all exhibit a wonderful healing fragrance in the same sequence.
As our veteran sits waiting for their family to join them; they view the gazebo garden in all of its color, and they see the squirrels picking up last year's walnuts; and are reminded that the playful creatures have not a care; knowing that Mother Nature will take care of them.

When family arrives and mom and /or dad has brought the Big Wheel trikes for races that will definitely happen around the 5 foot wide paved 'Circle of Life' track; that joins us all together; as he/she sees the  childern laughing and really enjoying the race (human race)and sees the smile on their loved one's face; they will decide to run and join in on the race.  Tiring, our veteran sits on the bench facing the center gazebo and sees the pavement that joins all together with the "Inner Circle of Life", he breaths in the same  fragrance; and he feels consistently connected once again.
As they all tire and are drawn to ; and move to the center into the gazebo; and rest on the railing and look outward (as one must to heal oneself); they realized that the atrocities they have experienced, the awfulness they have seen, the acts they have committed are forgiven in order to keep their family, other families and their country safe; and spare them to not experience those same atrocities on this country's homeland soil.

PLEASE HELP TO FUND THIS GARDEN; that we may also have wheel chair races, concerts on the green, picnics with fellow veterans, etc.; all to honor our veterans and to help them heal; that we may truly say "Speak to the earth and it will teach you."
