Vet Fees For Bear

Hi everyone,
This is our last attempt at trying to make up for the vet fees that have come over the last week for our beloved dog Bear.
We started this past week with an attack from another dog at the dog park here in Moncton. We rushed him to the vet and luckily he was only bruised with a scratch from the teeth of the other dog. He had to get a cone to not scratch the area so he will heal properly. It was not a great start to the week and luckily I top the brunt of the damage to my hand, but did put me off work for a day this week.
The next event was that we found out during his vet visit for the bite that he has an ear infection. So we made an appointment at our usual vet to get ear drops to treat that. Hoping that would be the last unexpected visit to the vet for awhile. We were wrong.
A couple of days later when we returned home from work we had found that 1 of our cats had knocked down a large package of gum that holds 6 packs in it. We found that he had eaten 4 packs of 10 pieces of gum and we rushed him to the emergency hospital in Riverview. Here they let us know that they need to make him vomit and he might need to stay over night. Luckily he did not and came home that night.
All in all, everything came up to almost $500 over the span of a week and it has put us in a bad spot financially where rent is not completely payable now. Normally we would be good and this would not be an issue, but it has all happened at the worst time where we just could not afford the vet bills on this pay period.
I hate to ask for help, but family cannot help this time around and we are in a bind. Anything helps and we appreciate it greatly.
