Vet Costs for Mr. Dozle Pants

Mr.Dozle Zabi Pants is a sweet little man in need of some help.

I adopted him from a local cat rescue about 4 years ago. He was 4 years old at the time and had a small lump on his neck. I was told it was a fatty tissue tumor and to seek medical attention if it changed.

Now at the age of 8 he has started to have issues.
Over the lat 2 months the lump changed in size prompting a vet visit. A biopsy of the mass concluded there were several abscesses and they have been drained. Beneath the abscesses lies the possibility of mass that may need to be removed depending on the results of the biopsy.

The staff at OSU Veterinary hospital was fantastic in getting Dozle treated but left me with a $520 bill. This is for blood work, an exam, abscess drainage and to have the tissue/fluid examined. I had to forgo my car payment and sink my account into the negative to get this done. It simply could not wait.

My partner has been going through a garnishment for the last 6 months giving our household $700 less to work with each month, Ive done my best to pick up the bills and groceries during this time but my savings and emergency funds are completely out. I'm glad my cat is okay for the time being, but this cost came at a very inopportune time.

I'm asking for help to cover what ive already had to pay. This way i can be caught up financially for the likelihood I have to set up a follow up appointment.

Dozel is one of the sweetest, lovable guys you'll ever meet. He likes belly rubs, sleeping on people's heads and licking feet in the middle of the night. He loves people, other cats kids, dogs....EVERYONE! He is an absolute delight and he and I both greatly appreciate any support.
