Left to die by the side of the road

Please help give this pup a second chance. We now have named this pup "Chance"

This pup was left to die by the side of the road after being hit by a car. According to the Vet it laid there for at least 2 nights in freezing temps. Can you imagine how many people drove by and saw this pitiful pup just laying there and no one stopped to help.  My friend Kim and her son Adam came upon the dog and actually thought it was dead and was very surprised when the pup lifted his head up. Kim's immediate reaction was to get it to a Vet as soon as possible this pup was on his last legs. They lifted the dog as easily as they could, but dog was howling with pain. They then took to a local Vet in Conway SC. Meadowlawn Vet Services. The dog is being treated for his injuries. Does have a broken femur and lot's of abraisions. These compasionate people are of modest means and were not expecting a huge vet bill in their immediate future. I am asking for help for them. If you can spare a $5 or $10 to help pay for this treatment and ongoing care. It is much appreciated. You can donate to GoFund me . Unfortunatly we have been trying to find this pups owner, but feel they are not coming forward because of the hefty bill. Nonetheless Kim would have done this for any pet in distress which could have been yours! Please consider donating. Any amounts welcomed.

We are now in the process of looking for a foster until a furever home can be found. This is a 4 month old pup which was covered in fleas also had worms, no collar no chip and not neutered. This pup could have also been abanodend on this road and the owners knew it would get hit by a car because it is a busy road. Don't know if this is the case, but considering all scenario's .
