Cancer Fund Vet & Chief D. Atchison

West Baden Police Chief Dave Atchison is a Marine Veteran and has been a police officer for 20 plus years.  Dave is a skilled mixed martial artist and has trained with some of the best in the business including the Gracie family.  Dave is in the toughest fight of his life as he was healthy as a horse one day then experienced back pain and went to the Emergency Room.  Dave and his family were floored when the back pain was diagnosed in late 2016 as pancreatic cancer that has spead to the liver

Dave is a fighter and he wont ever give up.  Dave has been seeking treatments at the Cancer Treatment Centers of America. He has exhausted all his paid time off and short term and long term disability are not an option at this time.  Dave is a Marine, Police Officer, Mixed Martial Artist, Mentor, Husband, Father, Grand Father and friend.  He needs all his brothers in blue and those who live by the motto: "Semper Fidelis"  and all GOD's children to help in any way so he can have the time off to heal and not worry about earning a wage.  Dave has spent countless hours mentoring at risk youth's at his gym and teaching discipline and self defense to surrounding school systems.  He has served his country, his state, his community and deserves every opportunity to beat this thing called Cancer.
