Verdigre Elementary Playground

The Verdigre Elementary is in need of a safe playground.  Currently our equipment is falling apart and dangerous for our children.  We also have sandburs that are a getting stuck to our kids clothes, shoes, and the footballs or kickballs that they are using.  The rainwater from the school is running off the building causing washouts that are exposing concrete.  Students are getting hurt in these washouts.  Our playground sits on a hillside causing many of the issues with the washout.  The inclusive play structure that we are planning on purchasing will promote safe,active play for ALL children, no matter their background or needs.  The current design that is selected would address and remedy these issues would cost the following amount:

We are trying to get the funds in place by November to order the equipment at the discounted price.  We appreciate all of the help and support from everyone in the project.  Children are looking forward to an exciting and secure playground that will allow ALL to play freely.
