V-Day Hammond Benefits Haven House

According to the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, every 9 seconds in the United States, a woman is assaulted or beaten.

Beatniks ~ Coffee House/Theatre, Hammond is proud to be a participant in the 2017 V-Day Campaign. We have been granted the rights for a V-Day benefit production of
 Eve Ensler’s award-winning play “The Vagina Monologues” to raise money and awareness for local organizations that work to stop violence against women and girls. Our benefit performances will take place on Saturday, February 25th at 8 pm and Sunday, February 26th at 2 pm.  

This production will be benefiting a local organization – Haven House. Haven House is a shelter for women and children of domestic abuse, located in Hammond, IN. We hope that we can depend on you for financial support. Last year, we were able to donate just over $5,000 to Haven House from this one weekend only event. With your help, we can exceed that amount this year.
