Vasa Band - new BbTuba

The Vasa Band is a brass band of the Salvation Army, Vasakåren in Stockholm. We have 50+ years of uninterrupted service, with our main purpose to act as the "organ" of our church and supporting the service with our music. We are also doing 6-8 concerts per year and have done a number of recordings. In January 2019 our corps and the band was featured in 4 services on Swedish National TV.
All our music making is dedicated to God and we sing our praises to him through the music we play.
The band consists of amateur musicians only, in the age span of 15-75 years old. We are growing steadily and now boast 28 people strong in the band. The band often acts as a plant school for people studying in Stockholm that then move on to other places and we are proud to have alumni-members spread throughout the country and the world.
We are now in need of a new Bb Tuba since the tuba we do have is very old and doesn't really work for the kind of music we are playing. Also we now regularly have 2 Bb Tuba player and have to borrow instruments from other bands to have instruments for them to play.

* We will come to make a concert at your house, anywhere in Scandinavia. For free. Outside Scandinavia ... let's talk.
