Vanuatu Cyclone Relief - Brisbane

We are a group of Vanuatu locals in Brisbane, Australia organising the collection and distribution of donations to the islands of Vanuatu to help those affected by the recent devastation caused by Tropical Cyclone Pam.
We have been overwhelmed by the generosity of people over the past week and due to a massive influx of donations we require more containers to be shipped to Vanuatu.
A comitee was voted in under our QLD based non for profit organisation VASSIC to coordinate the collection of Aid in Australia, the shipping of it to Vanuatu and the distribution once there. Vanuatu Australian South Sea Islander Community INC Brisbane was formed October 8th 2011 by members of both the Ni Vanuatu (Indigenous to Vanuatu) and Australian South Sea Islander communities (desendants of South Sea Islanders brought to QLD) to encourage families to connect and celebrate our diversity and our unique history through social and learning experiences by way of cross cultural awareness between the two groups.
Of course, all these containers will cost money for shipping to Vanuatu and most importantly, to the outer remote islands. Any remaining funds will be distributed directly to the people of VANUATU in VANUATU and to those who need it most.
Any amount, no matter the value, will be greatly appreaciated by all!
