Vanishing Texas Photography

$545 of $1,500 goal

Raised by 10 people in 56 months

"Vanishing Texas" is a photo series I started in 2009. A little at a time, I am photographing these scenes of Texas, parts of America's past that are slowly fading away. I do this with no budget for equipment, travel or my time and skills, because it fascinates me. Raising funds here will be a great help to offset costs of gas and food on the road, and time away from my business, allowing me to shoot more of these scenes, more often and publish them for all to see. If you like what I am up to here, pass me a little bit.. and I will send you complimentary copies of our music CD release "Prosperity Street" by Trace Relations, as a thank you.

All contributions are greatly appreciated, and I am always looking for location suggestions from friends, so if you know of some scenes like these, anywhere in Texas, please pass it along.
Thank YOU

Happy to hear through my posting on Instagram that this house is still standing, thankfully Galveston escaped the worst of Harvey's wrath. I took this photo on our trip there in 2015. Thanks for supporting the project! #vanishingtexas #photoseries
