Did you know when you book a hotel room or a vacation rental through most online market places you are paying any where from 15 to 25% directly to the website? 

Most people don't know this and this is why the cost of accommodations are rising each year. 

Has anyone paid for a drink lately at a Casino when drinks use to be free?

Booking.com and Expedia.com are even buying up vacation rental websites and rapidly increasing their commissions. Although you may think you are getting a great deal on your accommodation- these sites are taking a great deal of money from your reservation. And the properties have to make up this loss of income some how. 

THESE SITES FORBID THE PROPERTY FROM DISCLOSING THE COMMISSION THEY TAKE FROM YOUR VACATION/TRAVEL MONEY. They threaten no sales to the property or penalties if they share it.

We even are going to be offering an customizable application for every hotel room that signs up- not just for the hotel, but for the individual rooms. 

Just under a decade ago when you wanted to travel you called a travel agent and they researched your accommodations for you. They presented the options and they added a small 10% commission for making the arrangements. Now days- hotels beg these large sites to list their properties because they believe it's some magical revenue source. When in reality, it's not. The large sites have less advertising cost because the larger their sites get the more they get pushed up on Google, FOR FREE!

VacationPlanet.com removes ghastly commissions from property owners so they can offer you more in return for not using other sites that cost so much. It will allow you to research your greatest vacation desinations and choose accommodations based on greater search criteria and map based. Most importantly it will be community driven so your peers and reviewers can suggest to you places they liked or didn't like so that you can make more informed decisions. 

You may ask yourself- how is this important to me and why should I donate to this campaign. 

The answer is simple! If you are a traveler and you are looking to save money on travel. Or you believe that greedy people shouldn't be entitled to keep being greedy. Then I can change that. My booking engine (if I can raise enough capital to get it off the ground) charges only 10% to the guest, like the old travel agent days. And puts more money into the traveler and property owner's pockets.  Ten percent of an accommodation is estimated to be just $9.00 per booking. It's not a lot of money on the average reservation. However, I plan to stay in business by selling advertisements on the site and later intergrating cruise and rental cars. Eventually Airlines. 

I am looking to raise my first round of funding for $250,000K. My next round of funding will be equal to this amount. I am certain that I will need $500,000K to make this work. However, I am trying not to get a loan for this round of funding. 

I know that this is a great cause- it can help the general public in so many ways. Not to mention it will start forcing larger companies to stop being so greedy.
