On Sunday, May 24th, there was a lawn mower accident where 4 year old Jubilee was ran over. She has lost a lot of blood, her right arm and her right foot. While rushing her to the hospital, Barb (her mother) and Molly (her older sister) and herself rolled their car and sustained cuts and bruises. Barb and Molly also have neck and back injuries, although minor in comparison, due to the accident.
This is the same family who, on Sunday, December 21, 2014, tragically lost their home to a fire. Everything was lost. They are in a temporary living situation, but are still in need of a permanent home closer to Barb’s work.
Barb is the sole parent present and financial provider for Jubilee and her five siblings. She will be unable to work for some time as Jubilee will require a lengthy hospital stay, followed by rehabilitation.
Their greatest need is your prayers. Please pray for their family. Please feel free to add them to your church prayer chains, groups and lists. They covet your prayers.
Next to prayer, the family is in need of finances. They need a new home that is close to Barb’s work and the children’s activities and is wheelchair accessible. There will be untold amounts of medical bills that need to be paid. They also need a 7 passenger vehicle, as their sole vehicle was totaled in the crash. The hospital is a over 100 miles from their current home, therefore gas and food expenses need to be covered.
Let those who can, and are willing, give what they are able to help ease the burden of these our fellow Christians and fellow human beings, going through a most difficult time.
