Michelle's Mission Trip to Haiti

As I'm sure most of you know, I'm Michelle Keller. I went on my first mission trip to Haiti at the end of February 2015. We stayed in Port au Prince, and helped out with orphanages, gave out free water, and visited sick and dying adults and babies. Haiti has forever changed my heart, and I don't go a day without thinking about not just the poverty and sadness over there, but also the pure joy that the Haitians had for the life they live. I am very blessed to be going again on June 4. This time I am not going with an organization, but instead my mom, and two other girls, Melinda and Brittany, and I are going independently. We will be staying in Jacmel and helping out with Faith House Oprhanage and also helping out at a clinic nearby, led by Dr. Sem. While my mom, Lisa, and Melinda are raising funds for medical supplies for the extremely scarce clinic, Brittany and I are in charge for raising funds for our translator's school. His name is Blaise Gracenain and his school teaches Haitians english. Unlike the schools we know in America, Blaise's school is extremely limited on the things they can do and this is why Brittany and I our helping raise the funds to grow his school.
