Utopia -Miss Maryland Teen Contest

Thank you very much for taking the time to read this letter and for considering my sponsorship request. I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Utopia J. Diabe of Laurel, Maryland 17-years-old and a senior student at Lanham Christian School.
Some of my proudest achievements include:
Member of the National Honor Society
2nd Place National Bar Association Oratorical Winner
Writing Oratorical Speeches
Sewing and Designing Clothes
Volunteering at Food Shelves, Schools, Seniors Citizen Homes & Food Banks Competing and placing in various Oratorical Competitions at the Department of Veterans Affairs, The National Bar Association, American Legions organizing and collecting school supplies food and clothes to ship to Haiti and Liberia. Traveling to the Village in Haiti, living with village kids and hosting a Christmas Party for them.
Other activities include: President of my youth choir at St. John’s Baptist Church Columbia, Maryland, Praise and Worship Dance and Drama and Lanham Christian School and Teacher Assistant.
My most recent accomplishment was being selected as a State Finalist in the Miss Maryland Teen USA pageant to be held in October (26 to 28-2018) at the Bethesda North Marriott Hotel & Conference
Center in Bethesda, Maryland. The Maryland pageant system is one of the premier state pageants in the United States and I am proud to have been selected from among the hundreds of applicants that were processed.
This kind of competition is an excellent experience. I am confident that I can do well, and that it will lead to many opportunities for my future. If I do become Miss Maryland Teen USA 2019,
I will represent the state and compete for the national title of MISS Teen USA 2019!
When I am crown queen, my platform will be teaching writing to at risk girls, sewing and entrepreneurship workshops to girls starting from age 8 and finally Promoting causes of Veterans and their families. We have too many veterans that have been left by the wayside.
I have contacted you because I am hoping that you will participate with me! Yes, you can participate and get some recognition for yourself and your company by being one of my sponsors. The sponsorship fee is $3,195 which includes the sponsorship fee for Miss Maryland USA and other pageant expenses and you may contribute all or a part of it. My top sponsors will be recognized in the Official State Program and in press coverage. The sponsorship is necessary to help cover the costs of the pageant weekend, such as hotel rooms, meals for three days, production costs, clothes, shoes etc.
I sincerely hope you will choose to celebrate this event with me while receiving some valuable advertising and community exposure for yourself.
