Help Jordan Arias in her FFA Auction of a 240# Pig
Donation protected
So even though we had a little bump in the road we are moving towards our newly reduced goal of $1200.00 we are currently at $1001.00, thank you for all that has been done so far we only have $199.00 to go to complete the Campaign, woohoo! Can we do this? Si Se Puede!
I have just learned that the Sacramento Fair does not allow a rescue option during their auctions while other county auctions do, apparently Sacramento is not one of them.
The Go Fund Me campaign was seen by an official of the program and they notified Emma about the all kill requirement and she called to let me know and to express her regrets and apologies, this being their first year in the program they were unaware of the differences in the rules from county to county and so they are very apologetic about the confusion and anyone who would not support the campaign because of this requirement will have your money returned.
So it is with great regret that I say that Popko will not be saved and the funds given would only be allowed for the purchase of the animal to be killed for food and for the benefit of Jordan in the FFA program to allow her to purchase another pig to continue with the academic experience of raising and marketing farm animals as a part of her on going education in the field.
Please let me know if you would like a refund by sending an email to me at [email redacted]
In solidarity,
Tracy W Scott
