USA National Dragon Boat Team World Championships

In 2017, I had the honor of representing our country on the world stage in Kunming, China. Our premier women's team won gold in the 1K, silver in the 2K and bronze in the 500m race. 

This year, I have the honor to represent our country August 20-August 25, 2019 on the world stage in Pattaya, Thailand. USA National Team paddlers are self supported athletes. Here's where I need your help. First, please pray for my team (Senior A) and I. Let us be a positive example for all the world to see. Second, I will incur financial obligations like travel expenses/hotel accommodations to time trials and races leading up to the world championships in Pattaya, Thailand (estimated over 3K uniforms, hotel stay and flight). *Current flights to Pattaya starting at $1,748. I will provide a break down of cost once that information becomes available. In 2017 with the help of many generous donors $2,825 was raised. Thank you for your support and believing in me. 

Today I am thankful for the God given journey of full restoration of mind body and soul. I am freed from the 40 year bondage of childhood PTSD (physical, sexual emotional abuse). My inability to process such trauma resulted in a teenage alcohol addiction, suicide attempt and crystal meth drug addiction all by age 19.  I am a walking miracle. I've been sober for over 20 years! 

I thought I was strong before...now comes the real power. I pray my story will touch lives and give hope to others.
