Tony's Medical Costs

As many friends and family know, on Friday, December 21, 2018, my brother Tony was on his way to a photo shoot for his band and got into a car accident.  He swerved to miss a pothole and slid on the wet roads into a tree.  The vehicle is totaled, and the medics said they didn't expect to find him alive.  So we are so lucky and thankful for that!!  Unfortunately, he fractured his C4 and C5 vertebrae, broke his right hip, and has multiple cuts all over his face from glass from the windshield when he hit the dashboard.  He got taken by ambulance from the scene to Lehigh Valley Hospital and spent 2 nights in hospital.  He was released on December 23, 2018, but will need to be in a neck brace for at least a month and is using a walker until his hip heals.

The car insurance will only cover up to $5000 for medical expenses.  I can only expect that his expenses will soar well over a total of $10,000.  At this point, that is the only thing he and his girlfriend will need help with.  They don't have many day to day bills but the looming medical costs will be overwhelming and ongoing for several months.  I'm sure there will be physical therapy, more CT Scans, X-Rays, and doctor visits.  Right now, this is an immediate need.  If we can reduce the financial burden Tony is facing, I can't think of a better Christmas present to give him.
