URGENT: Veterans House Burned Down!
Urgent funding needed in Warm Springs, OR.
On the day before the 4th of July Vietnam combat veteran T.F. (due to vets PTSD driven anxiety and privacy concerns we will not post his full name) left the home he had been living in for over 30 years to go get groceries. Little did he know that would be the last time that he would ever see it or any of his personal possessions again intact.
When he returned from his errands the house, and all of his possessions, were consumed by a fire.
Thankfully, T.F.'s two sons who live with and take care of him were not hurt in the fire. Unfortunately this event has left all of them homeless and separated. Due to the emergency need to find housing for all three people the family had to be broken up and went to different places. This is especially hard on them due to T.F. having significant weekly medical needs.
Now that the dust is settling family and friends are reaching out for help in providing a living space for our homeless combat veteran and his family.
T.F. served in the 805th Transpo as a 71N20 (Movement Specialist) and did 12 months in Vietnam supporting his country. Please show your support for our troops by helping one get back on his feet after this life changing event.
