URGENT!! Please Help Traci & Timmy!

PLEASE HELP!!! My name is Traci Murray and I am the single mother of my son Timmy. My son’s father is a deadbeat dad. Those of you who know me will know how humiliating it is for me to have to ask for help like this.

Last week, driving Timmy to school I was broadsided by a young man who ran a red light. My car was declared a total loss. Miraculously Timmy is okay! I’m recovering from torn muscles in my back and a severely bruised or possibly cracked sternum, but I will recover completely. This was the third devastating event in our lives during this year of 2018. In March, my job of 9 years came to an end. Another job I thought I would get fell through. I am now out of unemployment benefits.

Over the summer I was forced to file bankruptcy for the first and God willing, last time in my life. The bankruptcy was finalized on September 10. During the bankruptcy, I was able to reaffirm my car, as I only had one year of payments left. Now the car is gone, and with depreciation and the money I still owed on the car, my insurance settlement is only $2,000, which is not enough to get another vehicle. Without a car, I’m unable to seek work and unable to get to a job.

This series of events has been financially and emotionally devastating. I am totally alone in caring for my son. I want to work, find a job and be self-sufficient. But at the present time I have to plead for help to pay rent and to get another car that will be safe, and hopefully last at least 10 years. Without a job or current income, I can’t make car payments or secure a loan so I’d like to buy a safe used car with one payment. My faith in God is strong, and I know this terrible and humbling series of events will eventually work out for good. Those of you who know me personally know that I’ve struggled mightily for the past 15 years to care for my son on my own. Despite how difficult it’s been, I’ve always loved Timmy fiercely and I’m so proud of the young man he’s becoming. Now however, we really truly need this help. PLEASE prayerfully consider making whatever donation you feel led to, even if it’s just a few dollars. I can’t thank you enough for taking the time to read this.
