Urgent Medical Appeal For My Sister

Life is a precious gift from God (Psalms 139:14). People would never know how precious this gift is untill the body starts shutting down. It's nerve wracking to be in perfect health and suddenly be in ICU with a heart condition. However, it's overwhelmingly faith challenging when you're admitted to ICU 3 times in a space of few months.
This is what happened to Florence (Rev. Ruth Njenga-Mama Ngina)’s daughter who was in perfect health until November 2017, when she fell sick and was diagnosed with (Arterial Atherosclerosis) a heart condition of narrowed valves.
Florence has been receiving treatment from Aga Khan Hospital in Nairobi Kenya which cost the family over Ksh 2 million with by attending Agha-Khan twice a week for treatment. Mama Ngina' s family managed the bill to support Florence but her condition has become critical and she needed surgery.
Due to financial constraints, the family organised an emergency medical fundraising in Milton Keynes and raised around £5000.00 of Ksh1.5 Million (£11,000) bill in India for the open heart surgery procedure ( Artificial Valve Replacement).
Raising the rest of the bill has been a challenge but God has been faithful. Florence travelled to India on 28.05.18 and was examined by cardiologist.
Florence has been taking blood thinning tablets to allow blood to flow through her narrowed blood valves. The tablets were stopped for 2 days to allow blood to normalise otherwise it was too risky to operate due to possible uncontrollable bleeding.
On 30.05.18 Florence was examined again by senior cardiologist, unfortunately, the scan detected some complications including a blood clot in her heart and a bleeding valve.
This latest news has been traumatic to Florence and the family not withstanding the extra $4,500 finance for this new procedure to be carried out otherwise the blood clot may cause stroke.
The current challenge that the family face is the finance side.
The procedure is scheduled for Monday 4.6.18, the medical fee needs to be paid asap. We the family of Rev Ruth (Mama Ngina) are appealing to friends and well-wishers to help us raise the funds, and we are certain God almighty will richly bless you.
