Urgent help needed for Melissa’s NEW HEART surgery
Donation protected
Back in the 90’s I was faced with a very scary health situation. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Disease. After three rounds of chemo and seven treatments of radiation, a bone marrow transplant on my 21st birthday, 4 joint replacements after taking steroids for BOOP, and a battle with shingles, I am a cancer survivor. Now I am faced with another health crisis. I was recently diagnosed with aortic stenosis and blocked arteries. After having some dental work completed, I will be having open heart surgery to replace the valve and then bypass surgery to open my arteries. We are not sure how many arteries are involved at this time.
Until I have the surgery I can only do light work and on a limited basis. Then after the surgery, I won’t be able to work at all for several months. Our income is really going to take a hit. My mom is going to help to provide meals for us, but we will need finances to help pay for taking care of the dogs, pay bills, buy gasoline for traveling back and forth, most likely to Harrisburg, school loans, etc.
If you can help at all with these needs, please consider sending money to my GoFundMe page.
