Urgent - Help Fisayo Stay Alive. Please !!

Donation protected
Fisayo (Fissy) Adeleke is a long time friend, former college classmate, a chemical engineer, a father and a loving husband. Fisayo was diagnosed with diabetes about 15 years ago. This has since wrecked havoc on his health, his engineering career and his finances. Complications from the diabetes disease has now resulted in severe kidney malfunction and other serious issues. The conclusion of his doctors in Nigeria is that Fisayo requires urgent kidney transplant.  Fisayo needs your help urgently to stay alive and keep fighting. Therefore, I together with my friends (Femi Abitoye, Bayo Fakolujo and Maxwell Ighagbon), all pictured in the old group picture with Fisayo, all US based engineering professionals, are asking for your help on behalf of Fissy. Please help.

I met Fisayo 28 years ago as a freshman in college through a mutual friend . I had just got accepted into the same Chemical Engineering program at the Obafemi Awolowo University, Nigeria and didn’t have a place to stay. While we were both freshmen, he had a dorm room assigned ( bed space assignment) but I didn’t so he offered to share his bunk / bed space with me. From there we went on sharing other bed spaces as roommates, books etc. through our 5 years in college. We even made plans for graduate school in America together.  While most of us proceeded to graduate school in the US, he declined graduate school plans and decided to stay with his promising job in Nigeria.
Fisayo was leading a very successful chemical engineering career in the Nigerian oil and gas industry before his medical problems came along. He has spent a lot and fought a lot harder. He has since exhausted all his funds but he continues to fight very hard to stay alive.
For years, he has been commuting very long distances by public transit to Babcock University Teaching Hospital ( in Nigeria) for treatment. There have been times when he fainted during transit but he is still here and fighting. He is currently on dialysis 2 to 3 times a week and still has to get there by public transit. This has been grueling but he keeps fighting. See the update for a video of  a recent dialysis session.
We have also seen extensive documentation of his medical expenses, diagnosis and treatment plan. The conclusion of his doctors is that he needs a kidney transplant surgery.  We, his close friends have raised funds for him over the years but we know we can’t do it by ourselves. We therefore beg you to PLEASE HELP.
If you want to discuss, want to assist in other ways, or if you want to donate directly, in Naira, to his Nigerian bank account, please send me a message to get the account information. Use the Go Fund Me messaging feature.

All funds donated will go directly to him for his surgery and other medical expenses.
