Urban Tech Academy Englewood needs your support!
Urban Tech Academy is an apprenticeship-based program for students truly interested in an IT Career and desire hands - on experience to develop an attractive portfolio of projects.
We allow young people to embrace tomorrow through exploring the future through internship placement, with entrepreneurial focused training.
The program harnesses students' natural enthusiasm for technology showing them how they can become the designers of their future, while delivering foundational skills in a STEAM based curriculum. Diverse levels of engagement trains students in business, technology, math, but most importantly, develops their critical thinking, entrepreneurial skills and self-confidence.
Our program provides resources to underserved community members of Englewood and Greater Chicago.
Programs consist of:
Ø Drones, Robotics and AR/VR
Ø Web and App Development
Ø Digital Media and Film
Ø Computer Gaming and Design
Ø Computer Build and Repair
Ø Silk Screen and 3D Printing
Ø Cyber Security
Our training is quickly becoming the model for the latest in IT training .
How your donation will help:
We are raising funds to secure a building and equipment for our Urban Tech Academy program. In order to reach our goal we need your contribution.
We will open a technology store, where the students can work while the Englewoood community shop for pc's , laptops, computer hardware, software, accessories and receive low cost computer repairs.
