Urban Art Co-op Studio Relocation

Donation protected
Urban Art Co-op is a group of artists who share studio space, techniques, and ideas for the good of the artistic community. We offer classes and workshops where people can experience the artistic process.

In December 2014, Urban Art Co-op was just an idea. Three months later we opened our doors. Since then we have been teaching classes, facilitating workshops, hosting parties, and supporting ceramic artists of all skill levels.

After nearly two years in business, we are busting at the seams. Our community has grown from six potters, to fifty artists, teachers, and students.

In response to our rapid growth, we are moving to a bigger location a few blocks up the street from our current studio. This campaign will ease that transition and brighten our future in our new home. We hope to add features that we currently have no room for, such as a spray booth and a gas kiln.

The funds will also greatly help with basic remodeling so that the studio will be up and running with no gap in classes or services. Any funds in excess of our moving costs will be put towards the operating expenses of our volunteer driven non-profit. We will have the key to our new studio in April, and we will need to be out of our current place by the end of May.

You can be part of our story by sharing this campaign and by donating. Thank you for contributing to the arts in Spokane!
