Who are we?
We are a robotics team based out of a small town called Kimball in rural Minnesota. VEX robotics is the primary focus for our organization. Our team consists high school students with inquisitive minds and strong work ethics that will shape society in the future.
What is Robotics?
In robotics, we learn many aspects of engineering including: mechanical assembly, programming and the engineering process. Robotics also teaches us social skills such as teamwork and problem solving.
What about your funding now?
In the past, our funding has been based solely on business and personal donations. Again, this year, our team will be relying on business and personal donations. These donations have been, and will be critical to the success of and functionality of our team.
Why should you fund us?
As stated previously, our team relies on private funding and personal donations to function. When you provide funding for our organization, you are not only investing in the team and the success of our team, you are investing in the leaders that will shape tomorrow’s workforce.
What will the funds be used for?
The funds will be used to buy parts for our robot. The funds will also be implemented to start Junior High and Elementary level robotics teams. The funds will also go towards purchasing a 3D-printer that will enrich the learning experience of robotics while increasing the success of our team. The printer will show students more of what the STEM fields have to offer.
How will we thank you?
Kimball robotics prominently displays the names and logos of our sponsors on a large banner at all of the competitions that we go to. If you donate, your logo and name will be added to the banner and be prominently displayed for the world of robotics to see.
