The Children’s Partnership

The Story

In California, 9 million children are counting on The Children’s Partnership to ensure they have the resources they need to lead healthy and productive lives.  TCP accomplishes this by setting the children’s agenda on emerging issues – from technology to healthcare to immigration.

Today, too many children are part of a family living in fear – worried their health benefits will be taken away when they need it the most, terrified a mother or father won’t come home one day, or hurt by hateful comments heard on television and repeated on the school playground.

During one of TCP’s Healthy Mind Healthy Future focus groups this year, one child of immigrants shared, “It is like we are hanging from a string that can be cut at any time.”

Every child should feel safe, accepted and loved. They deserve the best that we, the adults they rely on to protect them, can offer - not a string, but a lifeline.

It is for this child, and countless others, that TCP’s efforts to protect and enhance the health and wellbeing of all children are needed now more than ever. For the past 25 years, TCP has been a leading voice on critical issues impacting children, no matter their background.

Will You Join Us?

Together, we can give back to children what fear and poverty have tried to take away – health, wellbeing and the chance to thrive. Your support makes our work possible and is the lifeline these children need to access a bright and healthy future.

Donate now to stand with The Children’s Partnership on GivingTuesday and make our movement stronger than ever.

Your gift of:

$25 will provide ALL IN for Health resources like our oral health and nutrition brochures to nearly 100 families.

$250 will support efforts to educate elected officials in Sacramento about the value of implementing telehealth in schools  so that children get the care they need when they need it.

$2,500 will fund a new report on what is known as the “chilling effect,” a term used to describe the consequences of federal policies that threaten immigrant communities.
