Abby is a sweet, loving, caring, active 4 year old. She was admitted to the hospital earlier this week, and has undergone many tests to figure out what's going on with her little body.

The doctors believe it to be hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis. HLH is a life-threatening condition. It is often caused by an inherited problem of the immune system, which is called “primary” HLH or “familial” HLH.

Abby has 2 brothers and a sister at home. Medical bills are going to start mounting up, and treatments are going to be costly. Please help  us help this family any way you can.  Prayers and good thoughts are also welcome.

I met Abby's mom on an online infertility forum when we were both pregnant with our now 4 year olds. Tasha and her husband Matt have been through many difficult times, and have already lost 2 children.
