Maurice Ross, 24 life was taken away on January 23, 2019 in a senseless act of violence in Long Beach, CA. Maurice was a fun-loving guy with a passion for music and comedy. Maurice is the middle son of mother Elsie Norris, who also lost her daughter Stacey Gray, Maurice's oldest sister in a crime just 5 years ago. Not only is Elsie still dealing with the death of her only daughter she has to endure another loss, another child. No parent should ever have to bury a child, let alone two children. His mom has to mourn him while trying to comfort his only brother who looked up to him and loved him dearly; that was his best friend, he not only lost his big sister but now his big brother.
With this being an unexpected, senseless act of violence the family needs help providing Maurice with a proper going away celebration and this is why we are setting up this Go-FundMe account. No amount is too small anything will help and go directly towards the funeral/celebration. We want to not only have a funeral but we want to celebrate Maurice's life.
