Love you to the moon and back Cindy

In January of this year, Cindy flew to Arizona for her much anticipated graduation from Energy Medicine School. Upon landing in Arizona, Cindy started having trouble breathing, and ended up in the Emergency Room. Cindy was diagnosed with Pneumonia, and admitted to a local hospital where her health has steadily declined since. After weeks of unresolved conditions - such as atrial fibrillation , blood clots , fluid in the lungs and heart , high blood pressure, inability to breathe and hold oxygen- the doctors determined that a leaky heart valve was the culprit. Cindy underwent numerous procedures and tried many meds in attempt to correct the heart, but ultimately a valve replacement surgery was needed. Following the surgery, Cindy was sedated in the ICU on two separate occasions , for days at a time , in order for her body to recover. Cindy became so weak that a tracheotomy was recently performed in order to supply her body with oxygen, and a feeding tube inserted to give her the nutrition she needed to recover. Fortunately, Cindy started to respond to positively this past week , and the doctors started the process of removing all the tubes/meds and allowing her to leave the hospital and go to a rehabilitation facility nearby. After two days, however , Cindy was back in the ER and re-admitted into the hospital due to a speeding heart rate. The next steps are a little unknown , but point towards a pacemaker for her heart, and once deemed stable again , she will be released back to the rehabilitation center. Once Cindy is able to function on her own , and all vitals hold steady , she can then be cleared to fly back to her home in NC and continue care in NC. Although insurance should cover some of the costs , your help would go a long way in order to help the family' get through this tough transition. Cindys husband , Roy , has been on a leave from work and by Cindys side in Arizona for the last 6 weeks . Between the cost of hotels, living expenses in AZ , and uncovered medical bills , any donation you can provide is very much appreciated...
