This daring and delightful collaboration will feature pieces from the UpSide Dance Company sprinkled with outstanding works from local artists.
In this colorful 'Tour de Corpe', Upside dancers will step into motion, emBODYing the concept of "happiness" while our local guest artists will share their songs, poetry, films, and lessons on levity through the anatomy. Travel with us on a journey through our physical, mental and spiritual beings, feeling and witnessing how we think about happiness. Find contentment in a romp through the MIND. Explore how the HEART beats when it finds peace and how our SKIN tingles when we embrace bliss. Stretch your FINGERS & FEET into the lightness of love and marvel at the joy of learning something NEW.
We thank you in advance for supporting the arts and intend to use the funds raised during this campaigne to pay for our venue, rehearsal space, craft materials, technical & backstage crew, dancers and future mind bending collaborations.
