Upper Sheringham Bell Appeal

£910 of £75,000 goal

Raised by 29 people in 6 months
We have the exciting opportunity to restore the derelict 6 bells at All Saints Church, Upper Sheringham on the North Norfolk Coast to traditional English "full circle" bellringing.   They have not been rung in this way since the 1930's.

We will also install a chiming mechanism to ensure the bells can be joyfully sounded even when there are no experienced bellringers available.

There will be a chance to learn this ancient art on these beautifully restored bells in due course.

It is so sad that these bells have voices that are no longer heard- with your help we can rectify that.

All donations, no matter how large or small, will be greatly appreciated.

Amazing news - we have raised over £16,000 so far from donations alone and are now starting to apply for grants - thanks to all who have been so generous with their donations so far :)
