Mission Trip to Kenya

I want to share with you a challenging ministry opportunity God has laid on my heart the last few years, and finally I’m taking action to where I feel lead. During June 18 - June 30, I will be going to Kenya with a few people from my church as well as teaming up with 2 other churches.
Our two-week trip will focus on spreading gospel to those who have never heard of God and his word, planting churches, providing medical needs, and children ministry.
· First, we will be allowing God to work in our lives through the personal enrichment that comes from this type of a mission trip.
· Second, we will be visiting an unreached group of people of which less than 1% is Christian. This is a Prayer Journey for the people in Kenya to receive the word and receive Christ and for them to start a spiritual journey of their own.
· Third, we are teaming up with Church Missions Network which is an established organization who plant churches, train pastors, and provide medical needs and medicines to locals who walk for miles. We will set up full triage, exams, and pharmacy of medicines such as antibiotics, aspirin, and parasite medicines, dental and optometry.
· Fourth, we will also be doing children’s ministry; working with local children teaching them scripture and doing vacation bible school activities.
· Fifth, we will be doing construction on churches and church structures, such as pavilions that the locals will help adobe the walls.
I'm excited about the opportunity and experiences that lie ahead. I hope you see the value in what we will accomplish on this trip. As you can imagine, a trip like this requires financial support from a number of people. I need to raise $4,000 by May 15th. If you can support me in a financial way, I would be very grateful. And, most importantly, I also need your prayer support. Prayer is the fuel that will allow us to be successful as we follow God's leading in ministry in Kenya. Without prayer, nothing will happen.
Please pray for safe travels, but most importantly pray for God to reach out to these people and let them hear Jesus and feel that passion we all get from God! Pray that God will come into these people’s lives and change their hearts for eternity!
