Help diagnose Tucker

This is Tucker. He has been my companion/friend for the past 5 years. I got this "free" puppy from a litter of flee invested furballs in Starkville, MS. I originally went to pick up a basset hound mix but when I saw this speckled bluetick beagle, I fell in love. After some arguements with the parents about his future size, I convinced them I could handle it and they eventually fell in love with him too. (And he turned out to be the perfect size ;) ) This dog is sassy and stubborn but when he loves you, his loyalty is like no other. (Like his momma)
In december I took Tuck in to get his checkup and vaccines and what came next was a complete surprise. About a week after his shots, his energy level dropped, he couldn't catch his breathe, and his appetite decreased. At first we didnt think much of it but when he couldnt even make it up the hill to our house without laying down, I knew something was wrong. I took him in, we ran some tests and found that his platelets were super low along with some other labs. Things only got worse from there.. he developed some kind of accute heart disease and fluid in his abdomen and lungs. We are currently trying to treat these symptoms but the vet is at a standstill on answers. We can't seem to figure out how all this (a lot not mentioned) happened or what to do to fix it .
I created this page because the next step is to see an internal medicine doctor to try to put all the puzzle pieces together. I don't love asking for donations but we have already spent so much on the labs and tests that haven't really led us anywhere so I'm asking for a dollar or whatever you can give to help my baby. I know you may think, it's just a dog, how much are you willing to put into this? And I've thought the same thing but every time I walk through the door he is still my happy, excited buddy that relies on me for love and I can't help but to do what ever I can to give him the happiness and comfort he gives me.
