Chief Is Sick

Chief my service dog and baby is sick. I need help covering his vet expenses,  he has lost weight drastically over the last week and I am truly afraid for my baby.  He is currently at the vets, and think his weight loss maybe because of his pancreas but we are waiting for the results on Monday. I currently do not have the funds to cover his vet costs and his pet insurance doesn't kick in till 14 days after he is approved and he could not wait 14 days. His initial vet bill so far is 509.00 and the medication will be costly if that is what he has. I would like to ask for any help, I have reached out to different Grants and assistance organizations and they also suggested to start this GoFundMe. Shakespeare foundation generously helped with 100 dollars of the initial vet visit to help get him there and I have taken out a 500 dollar care credit, yet I am afraid that isn't enough. I will never put an animal down because of financial problems,  but the alternative is to sign him over. If anyone knows Chief they know how attached he is to his family and I am afraid that would be signing his death certificate. Those who know me know I do a lot of fundraisers for animals in need or also help when I can, but also know I never ask for help on my own but sadly Chief needs help and I am asking  for help in anyway shape or form. He is my baby and Logan would not be where he is today without him. I need your help to get my baby the care he deserves and desperately needs.

He currently weighed in at 56lbs his normal weight is 80+ pounds.
