UofG Iceland Expedition 2018
Donation protected
Please help our team of 6 raise money and support our six-week research expedition to a remote nature reserve in the East Fjords Region of Iceland. This year marks the expedition's 10th anniversary. Students from the University of Glasgow have returned to the Skálanes reserve every summer to learn and engage in worthwhile research.
This year's projects will each focus on a key issue for changing biodiversity and ecosystems in Skálanes. We will be studying Atlantic Puffin feeding rates, Arctic Tern diet, microplastic abundance and invasive Alaskan Lupin spread.
All of this is made possible by the people who are generous enough to donate and support our fundraising events. Your contributions will help to ensure that our expedition is a success, and we are very grateful.
Thank you!
If you would like to follow our progress and see what we're up to as our departure date approaches, keep an eye out on our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/IcelandExp
