UoB Triathlon 24hr Relay Fundraiser

Hello everyone,
Firstly, thank you for visiting our GoFundMe page. We are the University of Birmingham Triathlon Team and it's time for our biggest fundraising event of the year... the 24hr Triathlon Relay!
What is it?
Over a 24 hour period from 1pm Monday 4th of June all the way through to 1pm the next day there will be a non-stop triathlon relay.
In other words, at least one member of the club will continuously be swimming, running or cycling!
Why are we doing it?
As a sports club made up mainly of students, we like to keep our membership fees at a reasonable price to encourage as many as possible to get involved with this great sport. This year we have moved into the new sports centre, so with increasing costs we need to make more money through fundraising.
Our fundraising goal is £2,000, which is the amount we need to help pay for our final term of training!
As if this wasn't incentive enough, 10% of all profits will be going towards The Cystic Fibrosis Trust a charity close to one of our own club members.
How does sponsorship work?
Everyone sponsoring us will be able to submit a guess of the total distance in kilometers covered by all members taking part over the 24 hours. The person with the closest guesses will win a cash prize of 10% of the profits!
£1 sponsorship will get you ONE guess at the distance.
£5 sponsorship will get you TEN guesses at the distance.
Thinking of giving more? Get TEN guesses per £5 of donation.
Make sure to comment your name with your guesses to the nearest kilometer so we know who the winning guess belongs to.
Finally, a massive thank you to everyone getting involved and sponsoring us, this club couldn't run as it does without the money we make through our fundraising efforts!
