What is UMT?
UMT is a 2 year project started by 2 friends with 1 dream. Passion for live music and Community involvement are two main things that drive us. We want to provide Artists the oppourtunity to tour outside of their local areas. With so much accessablitly via internet and social networking a lot of fans do not have the availablitly to see a band they found play live. Due to economical issues and "life" some artists do not have the funds to Tour. Through showcases and fanbase votes winners of each showcase will win a week on tour all expenses paid. For any artisits traveling overseas they will be provided 2 weeks on the tour. Not only being able to learn and network from eachother but from music industry professionals, venues, local businesses in the communities we travel to and help with promotion through all of UMT's social networking sites. Our goal is to get people off the couch or out from behind their computer and smartphones and actually experience live music. Experience the 2 + hours of song rather than thinking about work or what has to be done the next day.
Why?
With music being so accessible via the internet, streaming ect the options for an artist to make a living are really in the live shows. Live shows will not only open doors for the artists and help pay the bills but also help the community and local businesses involved. "A group of Unicorns is called a blessing, and that is exactly what music is to us". We feel very strongly that music heals, that is brings a smile to peoples faces, and brings people together. We want to give you the chance to be apart of our blessing.
Where?
Well currently we are based in CT. The first leg of the tour which we are hoping to have start spring/summer 2015 in the US and the second leg being in UK/Ireland.
How?
How can you help? Well that part is easy. We can use your help in a few ways.

will you know that your donations are being used for what we said?
we will be updating on all social media and having updates via our YouTube channel as well and updates on this site.
This is our dream to help others reach theirs and we want everyone to get on board!
