Welcome to the Underground!
Thank you for visiting our GoFundMe page! First we are so excited because "Underground: An Urban Tale", a new musical by Thomas Hodges and John Viscardi, has been selected to participate in the 2019 New York Musical Festival's Reading Series! This is a huge honor and we are beyond thrilled to have this opportunity to develop our musical and bring it to the next step! But we need your help!

Underground: An Urban Tale is a feel-good musical about a teenage girl who travels with her brother underground into he subway tunnels of New York in search of a story for her documentary. On her journey she encounters a hopeful and charismatic group of characters who lead her on a journey that will change her life forever.

The show was written and developed at Perry-Mansfield Performing Arts School and Camp in 2014. Here we are five years later and it's still kicking! Now we need your help for it to be seen and developed here in New York City!
