Steve has an aggressive form of leukemia (AML)
He has been admitted to you PNN today for at least 4 to 6 weeks
He will be getting a bone marrow biopsy to test what good/bad bone marrow he has.
Saturday his chemo will begin for seven days straight.
After two weeks, they will know if the chemo is working and if he will need a bone marrow donor.
In the meantime, the doctor wants us to get tested to see if we are a match.
The doctor told us that we caught it early, he most likely he had it for a month. Steve is young and healthy, we need to stay positive.
Steve will be unable to work for at least the next 6/8 months. Steve and Danielle will need all the financial help you can give.
