Continuing Studies

Hey guys!

My name is Carlos Cordero. I am an international student from Venezuela and I have been living in the states for the past four years and I just finished my time in a community college in Tyler. I was recently accepted in the Nuclear Engineering department at Texas A&M University as a transfer student. I am here asking for your help because the economical issues in Venezuela prevent me from transfering any of my money to the United States, or any other country. Venezuela has a very strict currency exchange control system, and because of the economical challanges at the moment, the dollars that students were able to buy for college purposes are being used in other areas.  As an international student, I was not able to transfer my money to the US, or any other country without first doing an application. I am currently able to study because I am part time staff at Tyler Junior College and they pay for my tuition, and the department I work for pays for my room and board. However, I want to move on and continue with my education. My desire is to go into research and work on new and more efficient ways to use nuclear power. I know this is a long shot, but I trust that God will take care of me and that everything will work according to his will. Anything that you can help with will be of benefit! and if you are reading this and are unable to help, a prayer will be more than enough! The Lord is the owner of everything, and I trust him.
