Help Cocoa see again ❤️

Donation protected
In February 2017 my baby Cocoa was diagnosed with diabetes. Since that visit at Jefferson Animal Hospital he has done very well with only a few set backs. Recently he has developed cataracts (a common problem with diabetes) and his vision has started to go very quickly. He is completely blind in his left eye from a mature cataract while his right eye is about half way there. We have been quoted $3,500- $4,000 to have his cataracts removed so he is able to see again. That quote includes the surgery itself, hospital stay and recovery. I am trying to raise close to half of that amount as I will do my best to cover the rest. We also have to have blood work done to make sure his sugar is regulated before anything. I know it may seem silly to some people to spend that kind of money so a dog can see BUT Cocoa is my child. I found Cocoa in a dumpster when I was 17 years old. After nobody claimed him I decided to keep him. He loves to run, play with his brother and sister and chase birds. Cocoa means the world to me and I want him to be able to live out the remainder of his life to the fullest. I appreciate anyone’s help,. Thank you in advance

This is URGENT as surgery will not remain an option for long and he could remain blind.
