As many of you know, Ullysses has been struggling with Chronic Myloid Leukemia (CML) over the last year plus, in and out of remission, some days are better than others.
Chief Oncologist, Dr. Kahn, at the Maryland Oncology Center is thrilled with the hemoglobin remission, red white blood cell count stabilization but needs to keep HIS GOOD eye on the molecular (total eradication of the Philadelphia chromosome positive cell or BRC-ABL arrangement or ROGUE cells) area where the remission fluctuates.
Recently, he had the opportunity to travel to three universal healthcare countries and found it amazing how patients are treated so differently. Basically, if you don’t have big bucks or a Cadillac healthcare plan in the USA or cant afford to pay out of pocket for essential procedures, you are screwed.
Currently, he takes chemo each day orally, D-2 iron injections weekly and no longer has to go in twice monthly for chemo treatment. God is good all the time!!
Needless to say, it’s still physically exhausting; especially with the side affects.
While the emotional, spiritual, and psychological support has been tremendous; we would like to again ask for your financial support too, if possible, to assist with the out of pocket medical expenses as well as challenges ahead continue to mount.
On the wings of love let’s KEEP HIM lifted, in constant prayer, and beat this leukemia!❤️
Any gift of any size will help and move towards his healing.
Warm regards,
Team Tucker on behalf of UT ❤️
