The What?

What on earth is going on here? Three blokes, 10,000 Kilometres, One Car?
The Mongol Rally thunders wildly through the mountains, across the deserts and past the most remote towns of Europe and Asia. There’s no backup, no support and no set route; just you, your fellow adventurists and a tiny car you bought from a scrapyard for £11.50.
If nothing goes wrong, everything has gone wrong.
Three Aussie Blokes; Adam, Brady and Hamish, thought it would be a great idea to participate in the 2018 Mongol Rally. We are going to be spending 10 weeks on the road, traversing the best and worst routes Europe and Asia have to offer. The three of us met whilst on a Rotary Youth Exchange in Sweden in 2014, and have been close mates ever since. It has been our goal since we met to complete this Rally, and we are so stoked that it is finally happening!

Where and when are you going?

The 2018 Mongol Rally officially kicks off on Sunday July 15th in Prague, but we are getting a headstart in London on July 1st. The plan is to travel through over 30 countries, including The Netherlands, Croatia, Hungary, Ukraine, Russia, Iran and Kazakhstan, amongst others.
We will also be trying to participate in as many community events along the way as we can, in conjunction with Rotary International's aid.

Where is the money going?

We are trying to raise some serious cash throughout this trip for an international organisation we are heavily involved in; Rotary International.
Since 1979, Rotary International have been able to eliminate 99.9% of Polio cases worldwide, yet there is still a long way to go.
Of the total raised, half will be going directly to ending Polio through Rotary International, with the other half going straight to The Adventurists' charity, Cool Earth, which is an environmental organisation that works with communities to protect rainforests around the world that are at risk of being destroyed.

What are the benefits of donating?

As a bonus, any donor is given the opportunity to write something on our 'Bucket List'. These are activities that present a challenge, a must-do, or a funny photograph. (Such as jumping in a freezing cold lake in Siberia for example.) There are only a limited number of these challenges available, so get in quick!

The Eurasian Bucket List

Donate $50 or more and you have the opportunity to challenge the boys somewhere along the trip. 

Things like carrying a pile of logs across Europe, not being able to eat in Hungary, eating a jar of Dijon mustard in Dijon; be creative!

- Wear a mankini in Kazakhstan.
- Play the Turkmen national anthem for the entirety of the drive through Turkmenistan.
- Brady will eat nothing but Berliner Buns while in Germany.
