The Appalachian Trail or Bust!

I've been dreaming of a thru hike of the Appalachian Trail for sometime now. I am asking for your help funding my six month trip on the Appalachian Trail. Any and all donations will be greatly appreciated. As most of you may or may not know, I have been taking care of my ailing Grandmother for several years now. This doesn't leave me much time for a personal life or outside work. The amount I make each month is barely enough to cover my expenses; making it difficult to save money on my own.

I plan to hike the nearly 2200 miles starting from April 2013 and ending in September 2013; Georgia to Maine. It will require everything I can give; physically, emotionally, and financially. I have managed to purchase much of the gear I will need, however, there is still much to go. The money collected will go towards food, clothing, gear, and all other travel expenses.
