I really appreciate your support, to help me get started before the summers over please pledge your support before Friday the 17th of August when the campaign ends and construction begins.
If any funding exceeds the target, all additional funds will be put towards the business start up or into further development of the capsule.

I have just spent 3 years in India where I was working with the Treehouse Community (treehousecommunity.net), they are experts in sustainable construction of treehouses and various other kinds of installations. I am currently starting a UK based treehouse venture called 'Live Treehouse' and I need your help to get it going.
The UK branch will be modelled on the ethics of Treehouse Community. Essentially we will be a treetop construction team, specialising in sensitive construction (no damage to trees). We will offer a range of products including treehouses, sunset platforms, canopy walkways and inter-tree installations, hanging capsules, log cabins, creative spaces and garden creations. All of our structures will be built with certified sustainable timber and waste / up-cycled materials.
The company will have a social focus by; running treehouse construction workshops, educating people about sustainable woodwork, and donating profits to charities in the environmental sector. A long term vision of Live Treehouse is to start a community in the UK where people can come to experience an alternative way of living or get involved with a sustainable construction project.
To kickstart this venture I want to build a transportable lightweight treehouse capsule which can be installed on one tree, between many trees or just placed on the ground. The capsule will be easily dismantled and transported by car or van to different sites, or left as a permanent structure.
Building the capsule will be a challenging and fun experiment in innovative construction, taking an approach that has not been done before. The prototype will be used to raise awareness and interest in the capsule, which if successful, could be developed into a product which has potential for a variety of applications such as camping / glamping, eco-lodges, retreat centres, festivals, art exhibits, educational purposes or as a garden feature.
Once the crowd funding target is met the project will commence! The expected finish date is November 2018 at which point all the backers will be invited to come see the capsule and and test it out at a launch party! After completion of this first stage a decision will be made about further development.
