H+ Clinic - Ruwenzori, Uganda

Donation protected
Children in Uganda suffer from malnutrition - thousands are "stunted" - a conditon that leaves them mentally damaged.

To combat malnutrition, H+ Clinic is trying to raise $400 to provide children at Bwethe Primary School with free lunches.

Please contribute if you can.

Ugandans have an average lifespan of  55.8 years, immensely shorter than the USA lifespan of 79 years .

Uganda’s infant mortality rate is 44 deaths out of 1,000 births , more than 7X deadlier than the USA infant mortality rate of 6 out of 1,000.

To help Ugandans, we’ve set up:

H+ Clinic at Bwethe Primary School, in the Ruwenzori  “Mountains of the Moon.”  This remote community is only accessible via a footpath; a 45-minute hike to the closest road, in Kyarumba .  The 200 children at Bwethe Primary school, and their subsistence farming parents, often get malaria, parasitic worms, and respiratory illnesses.

We named it "H+ Clinic" - for two reasons.

Reason #1: initial funding was from transhumanists, who use "H+" as a symbol for "humanity+". (A significant percentage also arrived from generous progressives.)

Reason #2: We tell the Ugandans H+ means, "HealthyPlus" or "SuperHealthy."

H+ Health Clinic is inexpensive to set up because the clinic in in a concrete structure that UNICEF abandoned in 2009. (see photo above)
