Raul's College Fund

Let me introduce you to Raul, a young man who needs your support acquiring the final amount of money required for tuition, room, and board when he attends the University of Texas at Austin this fall to study engineering. We are Raul's family so we obviously love him but let us tell you a bit about him so you can be confident that your generosity will not be wasted.

Raul is a dedicated, loving big brother, a hard worker, a motivated student, an enthusiastic band member, a reliable friend, and a proud son. He is ambitious and determined to succeed in life. Raul has strong core values and not only encourages, but enables those around him to do better and be better. He loves to play the drum and soccer. He played the drum for the 4 years he attended West Oso HIgh School where he is ranked 6th in his class academically. Raul's young parents were not always able to give him and his siblings everything they needed while growing up. He used this adversity to build character, working a part-time job while in school, involving himself in extracurricular activities, all while maintaining a 3.5 grade point average.

With your help Raul will be the first in his immediate family to attend college, but that will be only the beginning. Raul's goal is not just to graduate but to use his education to improve the world and the lives of all those around him. Thank you for your time!
